Donating time whilst effectively utilising your skillset

We have been contacted by a few individuals who have recollected upon occasions where they have volunteered to assist an organisation with their incredibe industry knowledge.

Providing Health and Safety services is not only significantly useful for the organisation, saving them money and ensuring the safety of all involved, but also provides you as a health and safety professional the opportunity to highlight your profession and extend your passion through a helping hand. 

A recent example that Alison Wright Reid revealed to us is that she is the H&S Officer for the Heathfield Bonfire Society, providing 3-5 hours of her time on a monthly basis ensuring that H&S standards are met and maintained so that the society can continue risk free and protected. Dedicating this time towards the society is imperative, Alison is protecting the members of the society and safeguarding it constructively.
