Training ahead of the monumental Paris–Brest–Paris 2019
over 3 years ago by Jessica Bullock

It is getting closer and closer until Paul Haxell embarks on his challenge that is the Paris-Brest-Paris 2019 and his preparation through intense training is well underway.
The Paris-Brest-Paris is a 1200k bike ride which is to be completed in 90 hours. Paul is completing the challenge between 18th - 22nd of August.
A snapshot of Paul's training regime - "this week it was carb loading before a 9pm bike ride with the plan to ride 300k through the night..." which took around 13 hours in its entirety! Which is enough of a challenge in itself for most of us.
Paul is taking on this challenge to raise money for Mind through S4G. Mind is a charity dedicated to mental health - providing support, information and services to those who need it.
