One of a very small number of MBA graduates to be a Chartered Environmental Health Practitioner, Chartered Safety and Health Practitioner and a Fellow of The International Institute of Risk and Safety Management, Jonathan is a business owner, podcast guest, public speaker, blogger / vlogger and judge of the CIEH Excellence Awards..
Prior to launching Red Laces consultancy www.redlaces.co.uk in early 2020, Jonathan's early career as an Environmental Health Officer enabled him to mentor businesses in food hygiene, health and safety and environmental management. This was followed by several senior level, multidisciplinary roles with FTSE100, FTSE250 and other market leaders which has included safeguarding children, delivering renewable energy projects, wildlife management, controlling unsealed radioisotopes in laboratories, emergency planning and business continuity..
Jonathan has led departments and projects to deliver significant improvements in performance across hotel and leisure, logistics (transport and automated warehousing), bioscience research, horticulture, student accommodation and live theatre. Brands include Hilton, University of Warwick, YHA, Electrocomponents PLC ('RS'), M&S (logistics for M&S.com), TNT, ATG, Unite Students and Hermes.
Jonathan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Health, post-graduate diploma in Environmental Monitoring and Assessment, Masters Degree in Business Administration and NEBOSH Health and Safety Diploma.
