Tim has been a safety professional for over 25 years, having worked in Australia, the Middle East and the UK, in both the public and private sectors.
He is currently Global Head of Health and Safety for HSBC bank, supporting 250,000 colleagues and millions of customers in over 80 countries bank safely and healthily.
Tim has seen the impact of unsafe work behaviours and processes first hand with tragic outcomes.
He also knows that working safely and healthily is not hard to achieve, or expensive to do.
Safety professionals are not the fun police, they're not pedantic do-gooders - they are people who are passionate about helping others go home to their loved ones at the end of the day maybe a bit more tired than when they left but not having suffered any harm.
